I searched Google for tutorials, yet I couldn't find many decent sites. I also tried going to my library to see if there were any books on it, but the only two books that they had were checked out.

Eventually after reading a few good tutorials that I found, I began to get a hang of it, and I started to understand more clearly how AJAX works and what it does. After only two days, I've already managed to create two different applications with both AJAX and PHP, and I'm in the process of creating a new AJAX portal for PHPMini.com.

Bad Night...

Trying to fall back to sleep after waking up was nearly impossible last night. When I awoke from the horrible pain of my sunburns and from a bad dream that I had, I found it impossible to fall back asleep.

From 4:00 on, I basically sat around in my room, trying to find a way to cool down my sunburns from going to the water park the previous day. Since I knew that I couldn't sleep because I couldn't put my hand on my bed without it hurting, I decided to stay up for the rest of the morning, and try to get some work done with some new sites.

On another note, MySpace-Surveys.com changed positions on Google for the keyword "MySpace Surveys" from the 10th position to the 7th position. The second I went on, they were redirected to another site saying "This site has been hacked by #####". Since I thought that this was a one-time event, I decided to upload a backup that I had. Everything seemed fine for a while, but when I came back last night, my Forums were hacked again. Instead of repairing the database again, I decided to shut down the Forums for a while.

Since I knew that nothing would stop this hacker from hacking into my Forums, I came up to the conclusion that it's time for me to create my own boards that will be 100% hack-proof. The past week has been really entertaining and went by very quickly, but all good things must come to an end sometime.

Starting from last Friday, I was out almost every day with friends. Most of the week I was fishing with my friend Mike which was actually really fun. When I went to his house on Sunday, he caught 4 fish and I caught 2, but it was still really fun. Then on Wednesday, he came to my house to fish some more. We had a lot of fun, but we didn't catch a single fish.

Other then that, I really didn't do anything else. I went to Gameworks today which was really fun, but since there wasn't a parent with us, we had to leave at 6:00. We only were able to stay at Gameworks for 2 hours then we had to leave.

I'm not really ready to go back to school on Monday, but at least summer vacation starts up in less then 2 months. Now that's a vacation that I'm really looking forward to!

Spring vacation coming soon

In two weeks, Spring vacation starts for me. I don't have anything planned yet, but I know that I'm going to be working on my current sites for a bit, and that I'm probably going to buy a few more domains to keep me busy. With the current rate of new traffic to each one of my sites every day, I'm hoping to get at least 500+ unique hits on all my sites by the start of Summer.

My parents said that they may take me to China town over the break which would be really fun to do. I've been to China town once, and it was absolutely amazing. I'm really hoping that my parents will stick to their word and take me there.

Other then that, I'm not really sure what my plans are for Spring vacation. I'm not planning to go on any trips (we just went on vacation over winter break), so it's probably going to be a very relaxing Spring vacation.

More new sites

Since I had a lot of free time over the past couple of days, I decided to buy another domain. Since I have had a lot of free time over the past couple of days, I have been able to work on my new site a lot, and get it up and running. Even though there isn't any content up on it yet, I'm planning to start adding content later tonight, or tomorrow during the day.

I have also been able to work on a few old domains with the help of some helpers. PHPMini's Forums are up and running now with the help of some hard-working administrators, and I'm planning on adding a few new applications to PHPMini's list to help attract more people.

Absolutely Amazing!

A few weeks back I contacted Google because two of my sites seemed to have been banned off of Google. After the first week of them not contacting me back, I gave up on checking my e-mail for their message, and then I completely forgot about e-mailing.

However, today when I checked my e-mail I surprisingly saw a message from Google. At first I thought that it was an e-mail about something else, but when I opened it I became very excited. In the e-mail, Google explained that they received my e-mail, and that they would send it to their technology section for further investigation. The full email is shown below:

"Hi Kyle,

Thank you for your note. We apologize for our delayed response. Please
note that we understand your concern and have passed your message on to our engineering team for further investigation.

We appreciate your patience.

Regards,
The Google Team"

Since I knew this e-mail meant a good thing, I decided to check Google if they indexed my site yet, and to my surprise they had indexed it. My other site that hasn't been indexed yet on Google has a PageRank of 1/10 meaning it's not banned anymore.

I'm sure glad that this situation was solved!

Site updates... Life updates...

Last week, since I was board and I had some free time, I decided that I would finally update PHPMini. I had been wanting to update PHPMini for some time, but I wasn't in the mood to actually do it. The reason that I needed to update it was because some of the links on the main page were not working correctly, and I wasn't able to edit the links without updating 30 different pages.

I've also been working on PHPMini Links. I've decided that since PHPMini Links is one of the more popular downloads, and that it hasn't been updated in a while, that I could fix it up to make it more popular. I'm not 100% sure when I'll be releasing it on PHPMini, but it should be up by the end of this week (preferably Saturday).

I've also been starting up some new goals with my life. I joined a health club last week where I plan to work out 4 - 5 days a week, and I've started to put my homework higher up on my priority list.

I wasn't really thinking about joining a health club before, but after briefly taking a health class at my school, I've decided that it would be good for me to exercise more. I'm really hoping that this will allow me to get more fit by the end of the year, and that I'll be able to accomplish even more goals after this.

Since I changed my priorities, my grades have been improving. I'm getting the highest grade in my Science class, and I'm not getting lower then a B in any of my classes. Compared to last year, this year is going along much better for me.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://eaglemans.blogspot.com/2006/02/site-updates-life-updates.html' title='Site updates... Back to school again...

Over the past two weeks of winter vacation, I have been through a lot of things that I'm going to miss. There had been days were I was bored out of my mind, and there were some days that went by very quickly. No matter what the day was, it beats going back to school...

The first week of vacation was the best out of the two. My family and I went on vacation to Puerto Vallarta for 7 days (Saturday to Saturday), and while we were there it was about 85 degrees every day. The first two days in Puerto Vallarta were spent sitting by the beach or pool and just relaxing. On the second day, we went on a boat tour to three different places. The first place we went to (snorkeling) was actually pretty boring because I don't really like snorkeling. The second place we went to was a place where you went on a horse to a waterfall. Being the first time I've ever been on a horse, I was pretty freaked out, so instead of taking the horse back the way we came, my mom and I walked back. The last 3 days there we basically went to town at night and shopped at the local markets. On the last day, we had to wake up at 5:00 AM to catch the plane. Overall, it was a pretty fun vacation.

When we got back home, it was around 4:15 PM, and since it was the night before Christmas, my brother and I were allowed to open up one present. We each opened up each others gift, which was Animal Crossing: Wild World for me, and some cloths for my brother. After we opened up the gifts, we watched a movie, and then relaxed some more, then we went to bed. The next day we finished opening up the rest of the presents, and then later that night we went to our cousins house. Our cousins house was fun for a while, but after an hour of sitting in their house, my brother and I decided to leave and head home.

The rest of the week was basically just relaxing. I went out with a few friends to the mall and the local arcade, but other then that I just sat around the house and worked on a few sites. The last 8 days of vacation went by quicker then the first half, and I was actually pretty glad to have some time to relax before school started up again.

However, on New Years my family and I went over to my friends house to celebrate it. Our parents talked to each other while we played some Dance Dance Revolution in their basement. We stayed over at their house until 12:45, then after that, we came home and went to sleep. It was a pretty fun night that sure wore me out.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://eaglemans.blogspot.com/2006/01/another-winter-vacation-over-back-to.html' title='Another winter vacation over... I haven't been able to do much recently because of both working on my new sites, and working on school-related things.

My new sites include http://www.samurai-champloo.com, and http://www.animepictures.us. Both, as you see, are related to anime. If anyone here likes Anime, please feel free to check out these sites!

Other then working on my new sites, school has also been taking up a lot of time on my hands. For some reason a few of my classes decided that they will assign us projects worth 50% of our grade that are due before the start of winter vacation.

New Advertiser

Well today somebody contacted me asking me if they could place text ads on my site. Since I was looking for someone to ask me to advertise on my site, I gladly said yes. The best part about it is that I made $60.00 off of the advertising which is pretty good money for me.

Not much else happened today for me. I've basically been sitting at home working on a few sites, and cleaning up my room. I was able to completely finish my room (which now looks really nice). The reason that I was not able to go was because my dad said that it was way to cold to go shopping outside even though it was warm enough to go outside with a light jacket on.

I really wanted to go to China town today, but since we didn't go, I was able to completely clean up my entire room. I'm just happy that I was able to do something that would make time go quickly by.

Other then that, I didn't really do anything else. Around 7:00 my parents took me to the movies to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (which is one of my most favorite movies), and then we went to get dinner. After we finished with dinner, we came home and that was it for the night. It was still fun however.

Hopefully I'll be able to do something that's more fun tomorrow. I'm getting sick of doing the same old things over and over again.

So much going on... It's crazy....

Ok, since my last post I had a lot of things go on. These included quitting football, brother coming home from college, and some other things.

I didn't really want to quit football, but I really didn't have a choice. The day I was able to participate in football again, I pulled my hamstring. This was a bummer because I wasn't able to walk on my right foot, and I had to use crutches which are very painful to use. I was really upset because I did not want to quit football, but I had no choice in the matter.

My brother also came home to visit me, and that was really fun. For the two days that he was home, we just chilled together, and drove in his car that he hadn't driven in for almost 5 weeks. The only bad thing about my brother coming home was that he had to leave for college so quickly that we really didn't get to do much.

Now back to present time... Tomorrow my family is planning on going to China town in Chicago, which I'm really excited for. I've never been to China town, or any other towns besides Greek Town which is not that fun. I'm looking forward to it because I love Chinese things, and I especially love Chinese food.

I also received my new Toshiba Pocket PC two days ago, which I'm currently setting up with a ton of mp3s. I only have 65 songs now, but the list is slowly growing. My play list is going to get a lot more songs now because I started listening to Ska which is amazing music.

Till next time,
Kyle.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://eaglemans.blogspot.com/2005/10/so-much-going-on-its-crazy.html' title='So much going on... I've been waiting for this day since my last birthday, and I finally don't have to wait any longer but three days! I'm just happy to be turning 15, which means I will now be able to get my drivers permit.

On another note, my football team has been doing amazing. We haven't lost a game yet, and we have played some pretty hard teams. At the rate we are going, we will probably win almost every game (hopefully). I'm glad that my coaches are pushing the team so hard, because we really need the practice to stay as good as we are.

Also, my sites are doing pretty good as well. I started up an old site that I was working on, and praying that it will become popular, and I'm also working on PHPMini by fixing up some old programs, and adding some new programs as well. If it weren't for PHPMini, I wouldn't have created such good programs that I could make today.

Football starting back up!

Finally, after 2 months of sitting at home doing nothing, football is finally starting up again. Tomorrow will be my first day back, and hopefully I will meet some new kids who were not in the football camp before.

I'm actually very excited about football starting up, because it's finally something to do. The best thing is that it's actually going to go from 3:45 - 7:30 instead of 3:00 - 5:00. The more hours that I have for football, the better.

On another note, my brother is going to be at college really soon. It's going to be very awkward to be an only child. Hopefully I'll be able to talk to him a lot over AIM though.

A few updates

Yesterday around 8:45 PM, Google finally updated all of the page rank on my sites. I don't think that it has boosted her popularity of her site yet (it already gets 20 - 30 people on at a time), but she's sure happy about it.

New Laptop

About two weeks ago my parents finally allowed me to buy my own laptop. At first I didn't know if my parents would allow me to buy one, but after asking them only once, they said ok. I was very suprised, and happy that my parents said yes, finally....

Even though I only asked once the day I got my laptop, it still took 5 years of asking my parents over and over again for a laptop. I guess that my parents finally believed that I needed a laptop.

My laptop is a Pentium 4, 512 MB Ram, 3.06ghz ram, 512 mb ram Gateway. It's actually very nice, and it loads a lot faster then my desktop. Now I can use the computer while I'm on vacation, which will make my vacations a lot better then they are now.

Almost Half Way Over

From the start until now, it has only seemed like a few hours have passed by. Sadly, however Summer is coming to it's half-way mark. This means only a few more weeks of Summer to enjoy until school starts up again.

I have done many things during the summer that have kept me very busy. I'm happy for what I have achieved this summer, and hopefully next summer will be as great as this summer is so far.

The best thing that I had done this summer was probably the time that I went to the mall with my friends. I haven't been in the mall that we went to in a long time, and there were many new stores that kept me busy. I'm very happy that my mom allowed me to take some friends there, and hopefully I will be able to do something like that again.

I plan on posting a lot more on this blog, because I have nothing planned for the rest of the summer.

Until the next post,
Kyle.

Amazing Vacation

Since yesterday I have been on vacation with my family, and this is by far one of my most favorite vacations that I have been on in a long time. The reason that I like this vacation so much is because my dad received a laptop from his work, and he has been allowing me to use it for the entire vacation.

While my parents and my brother are at college orientation, I'm able to sit on the computer. I'm really happy that my dad was allowed to bring home a laptop to use, and I'm really hoping that they will allow my dad to keep it.

On another note, I have been pretty busy working on PHPMini. I have a few new downloads up, which I believe are very helpful, and is very important to maintain a good website. If you haven't checked PHPMini out in a while, you should because you're missing a lot.

Anyways, I will post a message about the rest of my vacation tomorrow when I get home. Hopefully the rest of my vacation will be as good as it was yesterday and today. I'm probably just going to sit around my house and work on the compute, or just bike ride up to my local arcade.

I also have trip coming up (going to my brothers college), but that's about it on vacations. This is going to be my last year with my brother at home, and it's going to be messed up to have no one to talk to, or no one to ride me places. Even though the projects are not really hard, it's very frustrating to complete three huge projects (and get a good grade) within a three week period.

These projects are starting to get to me. I'm getting way to overwhelmed by the projects, and on top of that our teachers are still giving out normal homework. I really do not know what the teachers are thinking, but I really believe that the teachers should think up something different instead of handing out three major projects all at once. I'm really not sure what they were thinking when they were planning these projects....

Another "fun" week in school!

This week was another "fun" week that I have experienced. I hated almost everything I did this week, and I'm sure glad that I do not have to experience this ever again.

Anyways, the reason that this week was so bad, was because I went on a church outing into the middle of no where. I basically had no clean water, and I slept in a cabin that was really dirty. The beds were in horrible condition, and the ground had bits of rocks everywhere so it was extremely hard to walk on. I also had to waste two days of my life away for talking about God, and all that type of stuff.

I don't get why my church can't afford going to a hotel, because they make hundreds of thousands a year. I'm really going to miss what I did in Arizona, and I'm going to miss all of the scenery that I saw while visiting Arizona. Here is a overview of what I did on this vacation, and how I enjoyed my week off in one of the hottest states in America.

The first night I got there, it was basically way to late to do anything. I arrived in Arizona around 8:00 PM (MT), and by the time my family found the hotel, it was already 11:00 PM (MT). Since it was to late to get anything good, my family decided to get some food from "Jack In The Box."

Sunday was probably the best day on vacation for me. My family and I basically sat around the pool where it was hot and sunny, and relaxed. In the morning, my dad took my brother and I out to get some food which was actually pretty good. I basically just sat around this day, and did nothing but sit and swim at night.

Monday was the best day that I had experienced over the vacation. The reason that this day was the best day for me was because I got to take an exciting jeep tour through the mountains. It was a little scary to go over huge boulders that were in the ground, but I saw some very interesting land marks that I would not normally see. My top most favorite landmark was an area called "devils kitchen" where a huge cave had collapsed. After we went on the jeep tour, my family took my brother and I to one of the strangest places I have been to. This city used to be an old mining area which was then taken over by hippies which was then converted to a shopping area.

Tuesday I basically sat around my hotel and the poll. This day did not interest me that much due to the fact that I basically just sat around the hotel because it was to hot to go outside and swim. There was not much that I did on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, I went to the Grand Canyon. I thought that this was going to be a fun experience for me, but I was wrong. When my family went up into the canyon, it was freezing, and there was actually snow on the ground. My brother and I did not like this because we had to stay at the canyon for 2 hours, and it took us 4 hours to drive to the canyon. The best thing about this day was that we got to go swimming during the night which was actually pretty fun to do.

On Thursday and Friday I stayed by the pool and the hotel. On Thursday night, my family took my brother and I out to a shopping place which was fun. I bought some cactus seeds, and my brother bought a new belt so that he could use his belt buckle. On Friday, my day was ruined because we were supposed to go to this "fun" town which was based around the old west, and it was actually the worst experience that I have ever done. This time actually ruined my vacation because it was the last day that we had to spend in Arizona, and my family and I were out until 8:30 PM (MT) which cut into our time to spend doing more important things.

Vacation Soon

I'm leaving for vacation on Saturday, and I'm really excited. I'm not one hundred percent sure when I will be done upgrading all of the old downloads, but I hope that it's soon.

I have also updated Pocketvoid a little bit (my mobile downloading site), and hopefully that will attract more people. This site has been up for about 1.5 years, and there's only 6 - 12 people on at a time. Mainly, I have been over flooded with homework from teachers who are extremely crazy, and have no live. I have also been busy lately programming a lot of stuff at my brothers request. Anyways, here's what has been going on over this long weekend of hell.

The first few days of this week were pretty fun. I didn't have any homework to worry about, and the teachers were actually nice for once. Then on Wednesday when I came to school, everything started to change for me. For some reason, the teachers got a lot more angry, and started to give out a lot more homework. Also, my brother was commanding me to program more scripts for him, which I apparently don't like doing at all. So, from Wednesday until today, my week has been a living hell.

The only fun thing that actually was very fun (which was actually not to much fun) was when I beat a kids ass in school, and I didn't even get in trouble for it. The fight started because this kid (who's extremely annoying) was starting to annoy me for the second day in a row, so I decided to bother him a little bit. After about 10 minutes of leaving him alone, he decided to stand up, get a piece of eraser, and throw it in my eye. After he threw this piece of eraser in my eye, he started to laugh and flick me off. Then, since I was so angry, I actually went up to him, and punched him as hard as I could in the back. The teacher saw, and made us both stay after class for a while. The best thing was that I didn't get in trouble because the teacher likes me, but he got in huge trouble.

Busy Week

This week has probably been one of the busiest weeks I have had since last year. I have been spending about 4 hours a day on homework, and I have also been programming a few scripts for my brother. I can't stand doing project after project for either school, or my brother, and I would really like to just have a few minutes to myself.

Other then that, basically nothing really happened this week. I started talking to a new kid in my school, and he seems pretty cool. I have also gotten two horrible progress reports which both have an "F" which is really getting my mom upset. The only funny part of this week was today in the morning when my Social Studies teacher told my friend that he's not going to pass the 8th grade. This was so funny because I never saw my teacher so angry before.

If any of you are wondering what scrip I'm making for my brother, you can view the website at SiteHst (Slowly updating...)

Stupid Kid

Well, today I almost had a normal day for one in my life time. I had a perfectly fine day in the morning, and all the way up until lunch. But, when I got to lunch, this big fat black kid came up to me, and was like "hey you faggot fuck, aren't you staying after school?" Well when I heard what this kid had said, it really pissed me off, so I was like "No, why the fuck would I want to stay after school with a kid who acts so childish?" and that really seemed to piss him off. It's kind of funny though to see such retarded kids try to piss you off, and they don't even know how to do it right. The reason that it was so great, was because I went to an Auto Show where I saw many new cars that I have not heard of before. When I got to the Auto Show, it seemed pretty boring at first, but after looking at a few cars, I started to get very excited. There were so many amazing cars that were out, and there were also so many amazing cars that have not came out yet.

Out of all the cars that I saw there, my most favorite was probably a huge truck-like pickup which was huge. This car was so much bigger then the average pickup, and it was only $43,000. I also saw another amazing car that was from Ford. This car actually had a T.V in the back of it.

After I went to the Auto Show, my parents decided to take me out to dinner which was very good. We had Mexican from this really small Mexican Restaurant in like the middle of no-where. From the looks of it, it looked horrible, but when I went into the restaurant and got the food, it was actually pretty good.

Another Boring Night

Well, tonight is another really boring night as usual. I have been trying to think of something fun to do in my house, but I can't think of anything. I really wanted to go out tonight, but my friends screwed me over, and I'm not old enough to drive a car, so I can't go anywhere at all. My dad is still up, and he really wants me to go to bed soon, even though I'm not tired at all.

I have been looking through some T.V stations that I normally watch, but tonight all that's on is reruns. I was hoping that maybe something new would be on, but I guess that there isn't. Since there is nothing on, I have actually nothing to do at all in my house.

Since I only have about thirty more minutes before my dad forces me to go to bed, I have been trying to find something to do on the computer, but I could not find anything to do on here except post on my blog.

I'm really sick of nights like this, and I really wished that I could of done something tonight.

What a Horrible Weekend

Ok, well this week was by far the worst week that I have experienced in a long time. The reason that this week was so horrible, was because I was sick for more then half of the week, and I'm still not feeling "the best." Another reason that this week was so horrible, was because I got back a few grades, and I'm doing horrible. I don't know why I'm doing so bad, and I really don't like getting bad grades, but there's nothing I can really do about it.

Other then that, however my week was very boring. I really wanted to go to Eskape (A local arcade place) with a few of my friends, but when I called them to see what time we could go at, their mom said that they were not home. I'm so sick of my friends screwing me over for two weeks in a row. Hopefully tomorrow, or the next day will be better because I invited another one of my friends over to play on Sunday.

I'm really happy that this "hard, long" weekend is finally over. Hopefully next week will actually be some fun going to school.
